New Defibrillator in Kilmarnock

Publication date 17 December 2022

The Robert Burns World Federation offices in John Dickie Street, Kilmarnock, now have a 24-hour public access defibrillator. This is the third life-saving machine, very generously donated by Mr. and Mrs. Henderson of Dunlop and their family, in memory of their daughter Laura.

Laura’s family and friends decided to create a lasting legacy in her memory, by providing 24-hour public access defibrillators throughout Ayrshire and Arran, working with the charity St John Scotland.

Pictured at the unveiling of the defibrillator at RBWF on 17th December 2022 are Jim and Norah Henderson with their sons Scott and Daren and granddaughter Sophie, alongside Marc Sherland, Past President and Marketing Director of RBWF, and Archie Chalmers and Jess Duncan of St John Scotland Ayrshire and Arran.
