CPR and Defibrillator Training Event

On Sunday 4 February, following the installation of PADs at The Hub and St Columba’s Church in Stewarton, the Ayrshire and Arran Team delivered a bystander CPR and Defibrillator Awareness session in the church hall for the local community,

Our CPR Lead, Brian Gibson, delivered the session assisted by Archie, Janice, Rosemary, Cameron, Billy and David. Area Chair Colin McCormick and past Chairs Jess Duncan and Rose-Ann Cuninghame were also in attendance.

The Hub PAD was funded by the patrons of the Stewarton Arms and the Henderson family, in memory of Laura Henderson.

The defibrillator at St Columba’s church was donated by Mr Bruce McNaughton in memory of his wife, Mrs Dorothy McNaughton. Mr McNaughton is pictured beside the defibrillator with his daughter Jacqueline and St John Scotland volunteers.
