Sunday was a big day for St John Scotland, as our first ever group of supporters to take part in the Kiltwalk crossed the finishing line in Balloch!
The nine people who took part walked a combined total of 117 miles, and have already raised £1,800 between them - with the total continuing to climb!
We're incredibly grateful to Duncan, John, Gillian, Robert, Elizabeth, Cayden, Daniel, Lisa and Colin for putting in hours of training, donning a kilt, joining the crowds and raising so much money to help us save and enhance lives.
With three Kiltwalk events still to come this year, there are many more opportunities to take part. And with all money raised at the Kiltwalk being topped up by an extra 40%, it means your fundraising goes even further.
If you’re looking for a new challenge, or you’re already a keen walker and want to raise money to help us save and enhance lives, we'd love to hear from you.
The next Kiltwalks are taking place in:
- Aberdeen on Sunday 2 June
- Dundee on Sunday 18 August
- Edinburgh on Sunday 15 September.
There are three distances to choose from at each event, so there really is something for everyone.
