Saving lives in Fife

Local residents visited the Bruce Arms pub in Limekilns, Fife this weekend to learn life-saving CPR skills from local St John Scotland volunteers.

The pub is soon to install a Public Access Defibrillator for the benefit of the whole village, thanks to donations from customers and with help from St John Scotland.

Volunteers demonstrated how easy defibrillators are to use, and taught CPR skills to more than 40 people of all ages at the Saturday morning session, helping the local community be resilient in the face of cardiac arrest.
